Doug graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1980.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1977.  He served as a law clerk to the judges of the Third Judicial District of Iowa in 1980-1981.  He is admitted to and actively handles lawsuits and trials in federal and state courts in Iowa and Nebraska. He is a member of the Iowa State and Nebraska State Bar Associations and a fellow in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Doug has a general practice, including but not limited to, personal injury, litigation, trial law, employment law and insurance defense and coverage.  Representation in civil litigation includes both plaintiffs and defendants and on behalf of both the employer and the individual employees in employment law cases.
