Brian received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1986 before moving on to attend law school at the University of Iowa.  He graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in May 1989.  He is admitted to and actively handles lawsuits and trials in federal, state and workers' compensation courts in Iowa.  He is a member of the Iowa and Woodbury County Bar Associations. 

Brian joined the firm in 2001 after practicing in Des Moines and Fort Dodge for a number of years.  He has a general practice, including but not limited to personal injury, litigation, trial law, workers' compensation, insurance defense and coverage, professional liability and legal malpractice.   Representation in civil litigation includes both plaintiffs and defendants and on behalf of both the employer and the injured worker in workers' compensation claims. 

Brian and his wife, Jane, have three daughters who keep them busy.  When he is not involved with his children's activities he enjoys golfing, running and hunting.
