After having worked at the Firm through college and law school, Zachary (Zac) Clausen joined the Klass Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2018. His practice is in the area of litigation with a focus on civil, commercial, workers’ compensation, and employment law. Zac received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa having graduated with distinction. He went to Drake University Law School in Des Moines and graduated with Highest Honors in 2018. During Law School he participated on the National Moot Court Team, the Mock Trial team, and served on the Drake Law Review. He authored the published article, “Examining the Admissibility of an Undocumented Worker’s Status in Iowa Tort and Workers’ Compensation Cases,” and served as a student attorney in the Drake Legal Clinic.

Zac is admitted to and actively handles litigated matters in federal, state, and administrative courts in Iowa, and state courts in Nebraska. He is from Sioux City, Iowa and enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and playing golf.
